A 50,000 sqm luxury residential estate in Niseko — twelve bespoke villas and a 1,000 sqm wellness clubhouse, framed against Mount Yotei. AID Japan signed the formal Design Services Agreement with Tadao Ando Architect & Associates in September 2025. Construction begins late 2026.

Pritzker Prize, 1995 — concrete, water, and natural light. Ando Village is his first large-scale residential commission in Hokkaido and his first project with AI.D Group.

The 1898 Niseko Opens — The Ideal Luxury Hotel for Families and Large Groups

The 1898 Niseko officially opened its doors as a luxury boutique hotel built for multi-generational families and large groups travelling together. Six expansive suites — 100 to 350 sqm each, with private in-room onsen and personal butler service — connect through shared lounges and private dining for up to 52 guests.
